Review of North Sails

First: I didn't have "sail" work. But I did have...

First: I didn't have "sail" work. But I did have a woven-acrylic Sunsetter awning and needed the side-panels that hang down CUT in a jagged pattern and hemmed so that I could make use of the one-panel on BOTH sides of the awning.

Second: I was not familiar with Liberty Station PLUS my GPS was totally confused. But the staff courteously and happily talked me into their facility which looked like a gymnasium-size work-floor with numerous real sails neatly laid-out over the expansive wooden floor from the back all the way up to the open-bay front desk at the far end.

Third: I had called ahead of time and had been referred by staff to Bobby who met me at the freight entrance at the back. He moved some sails out of the way for me to come in with my large bulky side-panel in both hands, cleared a space on the floor and looked at what I needed done.

Fourth: Even though he was busy and could have asked me to come back in a week or two, he asked me if I wanted to wait, and I said I would.

Results: I didn't have a multi-thousand dollar sail job, but they said they would do it and have it ready in 30 minutes. And they DID ... and then charged me a LOW PRICE.

Bottom line: North Sails San Diego is a friendly, professional, courteous and competent customer-driven organization, results oriented and fair across the board. And they stand behind their work. Special thanks to Bobby. I would to this place even if they sold grilled-cheese sandwiches.
