If there was a negative star rating this would be the place that would get it. I have never once in my life had to deal with such a terrible financial institution. Every time I have had to call customer service, it is at least a 20 minute conversation. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I ask a question and I have to be put on hold for several minutes before they even have an answer to something as simple as "where do I send the letter to request removing PMI"?
I also had one lady tell me she couldn't remove the PMI payment until there was 78% paid. This is a LIE. By law, if you send a letter to a mortgage creditor after paying 80% of your original balance, they MUST remove PMI. They are required to remove it at 78% if you do not send them a written request. Don't let someone mislead you!
THEIR WEBSITE IS TERRIBLE! Why is it so hard to give you my money? They do NOT except one time payments. You have to MAIL a check in. What kind of foolishness is this? It is 2020 for crying out loud. And you want to call them on the phone to process a one time payment? Expect to spend like $20. And whatever system they have is always broken. I can't even get into the new system that they have rolled out. I work in IT and I can honestly say this is the shadiest POS system I have ever dealt with. Who even uses IE anymore? NO ONE DOES.
