This is my second year living here, and new management has changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Staff is too friendly and maintenance is prompt. This is by far the cleanest place I've lived in. The floors are shiny-clean, and the my hallways are vacuumed frequently. Printing is now installed correctly and free. My room is huge, and it comes mostly furnished. Free coffee and tea which is convenient if you're going to class.

It's pretty much my ideal living situation, but there's a few things that make it less than perfect. The washer and drier absolutely suck. These are not isolated machines, too, since I've used them on multiple floors. The washers can barely hold a non-heaping, standard hamper. Additionally, all the drier can do is turn my clothes from wet to damp. I expect it to be "dry" when I turn the setting to the max tick called "very dry". At 3$ a load, you would think they would be able to do their job.

There is a literal spider infestation from Spring - Fall. Non-exaggerating, at night there are over 30 countable large spiders directly outside your window. They constantly find a way to make it through the cracks on the screen, too. I love leaving my windows open, especially at night, but it became exhausting dealing with them crawling all over my room the following day. This happened in my first year room on the 7th floor and even worse on the 10th. I stuck with AC this year.

The internet used to be good, but now they throttle it and make you pay 50/mo in order to bring it back to its former glory. Based on the price of rent in these buildings, this was the most disappointing change for me. If you're someone who relies on strong download speeds for things like streaming, Twitch, etc, you should be prepared to fork over another 50 for rent every month. I'd say this is the sole reason I will not be renewing my lease at The Towers.

All I really need is a good location, good internet, and a reasonable room to meet my work / living needs. The Towers provide all that, and more, but some of the trade-offs they make are not worth it to me. Why am I paying the most rent out of all of my friends, but I'm the only one that does not have an oven in their room? Oh right, it's because I'm paying for things like 2 movie theaters in one building (both are rarely used).

I leave a lot more bad than good on this review, but it's mostly because the location cannot be beat. I guess the rent would be perfect if someone's priorities were different than mine and they utilized all the amenities. I don't -- so I've found places that can fulfill all my needs while my wallet is a few hundred dollars heavier every month.
