The TIFF Bell Lightbox is absolutely perfect. They constantly have new and very interesting films to view, as well as older classics which younger folks such as myself wouldn't otherwise have gotten to experience on the big screen. I have seen masterpieces such as A Clockwork Orange and High-Rise here, in near-empty theaters, for $10 a ticket (student pricing!). You can also buy beers at the concession stand (!) and they've got the wonderful Luma bar directly across from the theaters where you can enjoy a bite or drink before the show.
