This museum is a must-see but should only be visited by those who are ready to take it in. It was the most impactful museum I've experienced. The message that "this museum is not an answer, it is a question" really makes the experience a contemporary one instead of merely a peak at a time that has long since passed.

The way they have laid out the museum, where you have to pass under the archway from Auschwitz and walk through one of the train cars that took people there, make the trek through the museum unforgettable.

There are also a few good video sessions that you can stop and watch while going through the permanent exhibition. The shirt documentary at the end of the exhibit is probably the best, as it brings alive the emotions and the human pain that were mostly 2 dimensional to that point.

Truly breathtaking experience. A must visit but only for those who are ready and respectful.
