We recently had a large breed dog who broke his front leg badly. Our vet told us they could not fix it and would send his x rays to west vet for them to look over and I could talk with them and see if there was any chance of them being able to fix it. We live about an hour and a half from Boise and I had already had to haul our big/hurting boy twice. I was trying to avoid hauling him to Boise if not necessary. I called and asked if they could look them over and just give me an idea if it was fixable and an idea on cost. I was treated so rude. The women I spoke to told me that they don t do that and I would have to bring him in for a consultation. (Which was like $150 or something) When I explained I didn t want to do that and asked if they could please just look them over and call me back to talk she got very rude and told me that if I wanted my pet treated, I needed to bring him in and that no one has ever asked for this . Her tone was so rude and condescending. At the end of the conversation she said she would talk to the surgeons and call me back. I never got a call back. I was so unimpressed and would never recommend them for how I was treated.
