In a city that has lost nearly all it's fine dining restaurants, Art of the Table stands above the remaining few. Located just north of Lake Union, it's in a new space and focuses on a tasting menu. The lead waiter has worked with several of our best chefs and knows how to serve a customer, a true rarity in Seattle. The course selection is mid-April is typified by these photos from the night. My friend and I brought our own wines and they had a reasonable corkage fee for the option, which both of us appreciated. Not only was the food excellent and perfectly prepared, it wasn't over salted, a common problem in salty Seattle. Next time you want a great meal, severed like you were in Chicago or New York give this a try.
