I shopped at Southeastern 6 years ago and had a wonderful experience. So last week I went back to purchase over $2,000 worth of furniture. Unfortunately due to my personal circumstances and sudden health issue, the same day I had to cancel the order. The manager Gary was nothing less than a bully, rude and unreasonable about canceling the order. He made threats and refused. I have had to spend two days calling the leasing companies to get the orders canceled and my deposits refunded. Yes, their paperwork says no cancelation or returns BUT I myself have worked in retail for 18 years and you get much more customer loyalty with compassion and flexibility. I had not received the delivery yet so did not understand the issue. After Gary hung up on me twice I ended up getting another kind and understanding employee to help me out getting the agreements cancelled and my money refunded. I hope to do business with Southeasteen in the future but WILL NOT unless the owners get a new manager.
