This place is a scam!!! My boyfriend went there to fix his electric scooter that cost $1,300. He walked in and asked for a cost to fix his scooter. The guy who worked there didn't give him a price but said everything as in the parts are cheap, Also said his scooter will be ready by that evening because we went at 11am and he will be receiving a call. The guy just took his name and phone number, not even a receipt or a ticket.
4days pass and no call. My boyfriend decides to call them to see what's going on. The guy on the phone said the scooter wasn't even put in the repair order system. The past 4 days it's just been collecting dust. During the conversation with the guy on the phone he assumes that the battery is damaged with out even asking the technication. Knowing the battery cost the most to fix. The battery cost $370 plus a $41 maitence fee and an additional $25 to put the battery in. My boyfriend calls again because getting to their store takes about an hour and half. We get there and the guy asked us for a receipt he told him you didn't give him one he says oh yeah that's right!. My boyfriend asked what did they do as in digonasis to the scooter and he just said they did things. Basically wanted us to spend $436 on everything. Now my boyfriend also emailed the company Ecco recco and they are also saying that they didn't check the throttle, fuses and most likely the battery wasn't an issue. Overall they just wanted to bang you out. Their (nyce whatever) just tries to fix the problem with the most expensive solution. I get it it's a business but to just over charge and not have any other solution is a total scam!!! Also no one is really fixing electrical scooters at this time so just bang some one out is just absurd!.
