I ve never had a good experience with this consulate. My most recent exposure was when I called this morning because I was confused about my visa application. The woman who picked up was very rude and condescending. She rushed through my questions, didn t answer them correctly, and hung up on me before I could finish asking all of my questions.
I ve had to work with this consulate a couple times over the years for my numerous travels to Japan. I ve never had a good experience with them and despise every time I have to call them. They are always extremely rude, unhelpful, and barely get my visa to me in time (despite sending everything early in advance). I would never go to this consulate if I didn t have to.
