This is not the largest zoo, and you could probably go through it in under an hour. It's still a destination that your kids will enjoy if they're under 13 or 14. There is a petting zoo, and overall it is nicely maintained, Even with the CV19 precautions on our most recent visit, everything was accessible except for the displays inside the barn.
We have been coming here for decades, and there are enough changes every couple of years to make it a worthwhile trip. It would also be great to make a day of it, you can spend part of the day in the actual park itself, and part of the day at the zoo. There are snack bars and picnic tables available also just outside the entrance to the zoo.
