I applied for retirement benefits online. That went well. But, the next day, I decided I wanted to change one of my choices and could not make the change online. And I had some questions.
So, I went into the SSA Office in South Jordan not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Had to wait about 20 minutes and then they answered all my questions and gave me the name and phone number of a person I could call direct (in Pennsylvania, I think) and get the change made.
That person requested the change and then called me back when it was completed.
I wish I had gotten peoples' names so I could commend them. I could not hope for better treatment.
