It is a good hotel, a little different from the surrounding area as it is located in an old building, and still maintain the original elevators of 1912 (or at least the speed of ascent and appearance). The rooms are clean, the biggest disadvantage being the situation with the elevators that are a bit reduced in space and slower than going up the stairs. There are only showers in the bathrooms and window cooling, which makes it more difficult to find a good temperature for the room. On the good side there is a safe for your things and coffee machine. The building is interesting and very nice despite being so old, it is a good option if you do not plan to spend a lot but still want to be close to downtown San Diego.
