I just want to thank Dr. Brett Hayzen for his care...

I just want to thank Dr. Brett Hayzen for his care when I had to go to the hospital in Yakima. He was very quick to judge the situation and ordered a drug test right away. He diagnosed me with pink eye after listening to everything I had to say. I understand what he sees every day he goes to work. I'm not blaming him for becoming that doctor that thinks everybody is looking for a drug fix. But, when you can't listen to your patients at all because your judgment has become so clouded, what is the point of being a doctor? You need to start seeing people as individuals again and actually listen to what they say. It's easier to diagnose something when you know the history and that's not always in their charts. Your quick to judge diagnosis delays my real care. Its little mistakes like this that cost people their lives though. So please, if you want to be a doctor, be one that cares about every patient again. Unharden your heart and see them as individual people. Those are the doctors that help people. I'm glad I am finally getting the help I need. Would have been nice if it wasn't delayed though. BTW, I would have ordered a drug test for me too. Lol. I couldn't open my eyes at all and they were so red. Also, your patient turnover rate was awesome!!
