My husband and I booked a condo for an anniversary getaway since the lodges in the national park were closed. We spent most of our time in the park, but when we were in the condo it was quite pleasant and suited our needs. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were provided. The fans, which were stored in the closet, were definitely needed since there's no air conditioning and no way to provide air flow otherwise. We opened windows at night and angled the fans into the bedroom. The cranks on some of the windows were hard to operate and I imagine those with arthritis in their hands or with average muscle strength would find them impossible to open. One downside was that the master bedroom was located right next to the stairs and the noise of anyone going up or down was pretty loud. We were in Rendezvous and the condo would have comfortably accommodated our family of 5. I would rent from JHRL in the future. As an aside, if you are looking for local restaurants, the Mangy Moose was good and Bubba's BBQ in Jackson was excellent. Avoid Calico at all costs - the overpriced, subpar, small portions were a disappointment.
