I've rented from Maguire Properties since May 2019...

I've rented from Maguire Properties since May 2019. I cannot say enough good things about my landlord, Dennis Maguire, and his team. Mr. Maguire is one of the last remaining decent landlords in this city and it's clear that he cares about his tenants as well as his property.

There are plenty of property owners in this city that claim that they care about their properties and tenants, but they certainly don't show it and it becomes clear that you should just pay your rent and not ask for anything. I've even had to deal with rodent infestations in the past and had landlords shrug about it. That's not the case with Mr. Maguire. If you contact them with an issue, you get an immediate response and if it's urgent, someone comes over same day. I started off in a different unit than I am currently in, and when I was moving into this one, he was communicative and very thorough in ensuring that this unit was repaired correctly before I moved in (the last tenants had not taken care of this place at all). When the pandemic hit and half the country was sharing letters from landlords threatening eviction if rent was not paid, no matter what the tenants work situation, Maguire Properties waived the late fees to ease the pressure on their tenants. It's truly refreshing. And if he cares this much about making things right for a tenant who's rent is well under $1k/month, I can only imagine how professional and thorough he is with his business properties. 10/10 would highly recommend.
