I did a lot of research before embarking on the DNA trail and had decided early on that I would not pay for a DNA kit which includes the health portion. This is due to the fact that I found several articles that said once you have your DNA data, you can upload it to different DNA companies and they will run a full array of health, fitness, pharmaceutical, etc tests for a fraction of the price or even free!

Although I received a lot of useful information from these additional DNA testing companies, I found it was very hard to read (too technical) and could be cumbersome to navigate their sites. Enter Xcode Life. They had a deal over the holiday season where you could get the Mega Reports which include Allergy, BRCA, Carrier, Fitness, Health, MTHFR, Nutrition, Personality, Pharmaceutical, and Skin for only $99! I decided to bite the bullet and upload my DNA file and within less than 24 hours I had a plethora of reports, in an easy to read nicely laid out format, which gave me very useful information, recommendations, and so much more!

The great thing about Xcode Life is you can opt for a package deal like I did OR you can "a la carte" it if you want just a few specialized reports; however, if you can get in on one of the deals Xcode had on their packages, I say go for it because it's so worth it!
