I took the HTML/CSS and JavaScript part-time courses in spring and fall of 2016. The best part of HY are the instructors by far! They're so friendly, funny and awesome! For such a complicated subject matter, they're able to break things down to basics in a way that keeps your ears perked the whole time while also not making you feel like a total dummy. The HY community itself is very infectious. I was drawn in initially because of their commitment to bringing in more women and people of colour in their classes.
