Dr Denis Nam replaced my left hip on June 12th 2018. It was a complicated surgery as I had my hip replaced previously and that hardware had to come out because it had failed. I was missing allot of bone behind the steel cup piece that had to come out. My bad hip had moved up higher in my pelvic area and my left leg was about an inch shorter. Dr Nam had to fuse bone in that area to build it back up then insert the new cup and ball for my new hip. The first 30 days after the surgery I was non weight bearing on my left leg to let the bone from a cadaver fuse. It was a 3 month recovery time. I'm happy to say I was back to work October 1st 2018 and pain free and my left leg is the same length as my right leg.
