Disappointing sales department. After placing my order I received a notification that the tool would either ship from BIS or from the manufacturer and I would be getting a tracking number. Well nothing happened for a number of days until I contact them. Turns out they do not have the item in stock and they don't want the manufacturer to ship it, so the tool first needs to be restocked and then they ship it out. A week later they do ship it, but with that added delay it now has a Saturday delivery date when the office is closed. FedEx tells me that BIS has placed restrictions on the delivery so that the package cannot be held at a shipping center. I reached out to BIS to please release those restrictions for an earlier delivery but was told they could not do that. If I had known it would take 2 weeks to get my order I never would have gone with BIS. To summarize: if an item is out of stock, mark it as OUT OF STOCK on your website. If you realize that mistake later CONTACT THE BUYER instead of just staying quiet and finally DO NOT BLOCK FEDEX ROUTING REQUESTS.
