The massages received by my SO and I were top notch. If it was based only on the performance of the massage therapist, 5 star all day.
Our experience at the front desk though was less than stellar. This was my first time coming here but wasn't informed that a "couples massage" wouldn't be together unless I had stated on the phone "side by side". I accepted this, but was very displeased with the lack of being informed on the phone during booking of lingo not used by all massage establishments. When checking out at no point was gratuity mentioned or explained and you couldn't leave a tip on the receipt. I had to leave and get cash in order to tip which is a disadvantage to the therapists as well as to the clients as I don't think everyone would come back. I indicated I had been referred to the salon before beginning check out and the discount wasn't added to the bill until I asked questions after paying and seeing the referral wasn't applied. I can only hope the person who referred me actually got credited for it.
I am a really understanding individual but the fiasco here was enough to not want to return.
