Review of JM Lexus

We are very happy with the car.

We are very happy with the car.
The car was not quite as clean as I feel it should have been. There were marks by the controls on the console and you said you believed it was damaged by some chemical they use to try and clean it. When I wiped it, it came off. There were other things noticed that I feel could have been cleaned and then found something that was spilled between the passenger seat and center console. Looking in the center console we found a used glove and also found a used glove in the trunk on the spare tire. Steve also found a used container of Vaseline. This was after the purchase of the car but I did not say anything because we were not in a position to wait for the car to be cleaned.

Everyone was very nice and I appreciate Mikes follow up as well as yours. I felt the paperwork process was a bit rushed. Like perhaps you had another appointment you had to get to?

This is from Steve:
Our experience at JM Lexus is as follows. Everything was going very smoothly, Car was everything we were told it was. We went for a ride and got a flat tire 2 miles away from the dealership. Called the dealership. I was told to call 1-800 Lexus roadside service. After talking to Lexus they said it would be over 90 minutes before they could get to me. I decided to put the spare on myself. Come to find out the wheel lug nut lock key was not in the car. Even though the 161 point inspection claims that it was. Starts to make you wonder how much of the inspection was actually done.I then recalled the dealership and they did bring a key and they did help change the tire. Went back to the dealership to see about getting another tire. After a while they came to tell us they could not match the tire. It would have to be ordered. I asked them again to please check the existing tire to see if it was pluggable. I was told twice it was not. Being a mechanic myself I asked please pull the object out of the tire so I could see the tire. When that was done it was determined that yes the tire was indeed pluggable. I was then told it would be an hour to an hour and a half before they could get to it. That s longer waiting to get the car repaired then I had already owned the car.I am not blaming the dealership for the tire damage. But I am blaming them for not taking care of me as quickly as it should ve been taken care of. After waiting over 30 more minutes I decided I was going to go get the tire repaired myself somewhere else. I did that, it was repaired immediately and cost me $15. I just really feel that the dealership dropped the ball on helping out in this particular situation. I had a 3 1/2 hour drive ahead of me to get where I was going that night. I flew from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale to purchase the car. It s not like I was a local resident and had somewhere to go while I waited to fix the car. I realize this was an unfortunate situation. But I truly believe the dealership could ve done a bit more in this particular situation.
