The salesperson I worked with via email was friendly and made the transaction very quick and smooth, however, it turns out that it went a little too quickly, as nothing was properly explained to me. The installers arrived within the time window as promised, but were surprised that my laminate countertops and sink were still installed. I explained that I had no idea that these things needed to be removed/disconnected beforehand and I assumed they were included in the installation price, since it was never mentioned. After calling the main office, I agreed to have them remove the old tops for $250 (didn't really have any other choice.) The installers did a good job and everything looks good.... Except that they said they couldn't reconnect my faucet and garbage disposal because that's not included and that I needed to call a plumber. I couldn't understand why they couldn't reinstall what they uninstalled?! Well, I called two different plumbers to take a look and it is costing me another $600 to get the disposal hooked back up because the placement changed sue to the new sink. They said it's common for these countertop companies to install and "run away" without telling you how difficult it will be to reconnect when the sink has changed. I was told none of this. Extremely unprofessional!! So what I thought was a decent price for my new countertops ended up being way overpriced.
