I dropped off my dad's 2005 Pacifica for a gauge light that would come on/off and vehicle stalling at times. They charged us $120+ to diagnose and found out that the stalling problem was with EDG valve and the light was due to two codes, one EDG valve and the other converter which need to be changed. We agreed that the EDG Valve be changed to fix the stalling problem, which they did and fixed; however, the converter was over the budget to be changed there so we changed the converter at a local mechanic at much cheaper price; however the light still came on. we went back to this Chrysler dealer and the rep who was very nice in the first few visits ( I also service my car there ) said that you have to pay again for diagnosing this light problem. I argued that you had diagnosed that the light problem was due to these two codes and if they are changed it should disappear. Finally, he was firm on charging the diagnose fee to pay the tech apparently and I did not want to argue any further and left the shop. My Dad might have lost a few hundred dollars, but this dealer and the company lost me as a customer and many others whom I tell to refrain from servicing their vehicles at this location.
