My time at Pacific Patrol Services was decent. I worked for them for about 2 and a half years. Due to some recent incidents that occurred and they did an interval review on was my final straw. They wanted to sweep these incidents under the rug so nothing could come of it. They hire some of the worst people. So when they have good employees it goes unnoticed. We are just a number too them. Communicating with anyone is poor. Supervisor say they will get back to you and completely forget about it and you get in trouble because they forgot. Management is alright. They don t always take responsibility for their actions or actions of the officers they poorly trained.
I enjoyed the site I worked at. Got to meet some really cool people. They have plenty of OT opportunities. Pay is alright, not the best and definitely not competitive
No room for growth. I gave them 16 days notice of me leaving and refused to pay me on my final day of working. I got paid on their pay schedule. I ve already submitted a wage claim with BOLI. I would not recommend this job if you want to grow in Security or even as a stepping stones towards Law Enforcement. If you want a summer job this is the company for you. Please don t make the mistake I made and stay with them for a long time.
