I brought my whole family here on my birthday so my 2year old daughter could experience watching a full-length movie for the first time, other than the short flicks we usually watch at theme parks and Science centers. Dad didn t know I have been planning it for a long time. I went to the website, looked for promotions, and found a gem : the free VIP Rewards Program! You get: (1)Discount Days on Tuesdays where movies are only worth $8 if purchased in-theatre; (2)Free Tickets on your birthday: either 1 free iMax ticket or 4 VIP Tour Tickets; (3) Free popcorn upgrades; (4)Invitations to Exclusive Benefits; and (5)Chance to win a TCL TV and other exclusive perks. It s only for a limited time, so I called them first to make sure we could claim the rewards on the day of our visit. The staff members where all so amiable and polite. We watched How to Train Your Dragon II . There were only a few people, but since we went as a family, we enjoyed it a lot. It was an educational tour. I was glad that my middle schooler learned something new about history, cultures, and entertainment. It was chilly when we went there, but we stayed outside for a while to enjoy the view of the facade and the handprints of celebrities. It was a very inexpensive birthday celebration, and we even got our parking ticket validated.
