The Dubai Mall is considered to be the world's largest mall. Not sure if it really is but honestly you cannot cover the entire mall in single visit. The best part is that it's so well maintained and friendly staff to help you locate any shop/attraction you are looking for.

The musical fountain in the open arena is soothing. You can spend hours there just to experience different shows. There is a special view of this fountain from inside of Apple Store but its generally very busy.
