It never fails. once you have a bad experience with the first employee you encounter, you can bet the rest of the visit is going to be bad. A few highlights from our visit -
The hostess took us to our table, then cleaned 3 other tables before ours while we stood there. We asked if we could sit at the table near the front of the outdoor area, but she said no because of a waitress shift change. 5 minutes later, people were seated there.
The waitress took our order, then left in silence. It was very strange. Our child accidentally spilled some milk, which seemed to agitate her. Not to worry, she cleaned the spill up with a wadded up paper towel halfheartedly, leaving the rest of the milk and the paper towel laying on the ground for the rest of the meal.
The food was not brought out all at once, we had to wait a long time before we could all start eating. This is chain restaurant food, maybe a little bit better than Chile's, but not by much. The hush puppies were pretty bad, everything else was just serviceable.
All in all, this is crap franchise restaurant food, but what makes this location special is the oblivious staff that obviously don't want to be there.
