What's the biggest lie in the English language? "I'm from the government. I'm here to help you." I'd waited 45 minutes on hold and when it was "my turn" they couldn't help me over the phone so I made an appointment to meet with them. I researched my issue on my own and figured it out. Out of courtesy I called back to cancel the appointment. Another 45 minutes on hold. They wanted proof of identity before they would cancel the appointment. I should have just no showed the appointment. I can honestly say I feel dumber having had them "help" me. So grateful I only retire once.
