I took my mother here with a brain bleed, when I was finally able to meet with the neuro surgeon he spoke to me a whole two minutes to basically say he couldnt do anything and that she was going to die at any time or maybe a few days. Sorry aboutcha bad luck but good luck to ya I have more important things to get to kinda attitude. From my observation, I seen a very unprofessional, lazy man with lack of interest in his patients. (They really should make md's pass a patch adams course before they can pass their boards). I always assumed surgeons were hard workers with alot of heart and passion for saving lives. He couldn't helped what happened to my mother, but he could have tried to save her. It seemed as though alot of other surgeons there are the same way. Now the nurses, amazing I think. Some of the most caring people you will ever come across. I had never seen anything like them at any other hospital. They worked hard. They have alot of compassion for their patients. Alot of understandy. They made our situation as easy on me and family as they could. And made sure to do whatever they needed to do to make sure we were comfortable as possible alot with their patients. Its a damn shame they do most the work and get much les than the surgeon who you will rarely see. I would love to find the nurse who were there and tell the much I appreciate them for what the did.
