Warning: show will be cancelled just before curtain if one of the leads can't make it.

Was at Gateway on Dec 28 with party of 8 when show cancelled few minutes before curtain. Close to 500+ people waiting in lobby (a lot had already paid for parking too). They can't afford understudies. A zillion out of work actors and they can't find anyone willing to do it for the experience, the training, the possibility of performing and a nominal fee (or is this an ACTRA issue)? What about another minor cast member? They must have lost in the region of 20k that night not to mention their reputation. Super disappointed.
