I have been doing business with Rock Auto for a few years now. Up till now, my experience has been good. But Adam, in Customer Service, has definitely put a BAD taste in my mouth.
I purchased an ABS Control module for my truck. I mistakenly ordered the incorrect one and returned it to get the correct one. During the return process, I chose "store credit" in order to expedite getting the correct part. Once the credit was issued, I promptly got online to order the correct module... no longer available now. So I called Rock Auto and unfortunately got Adam. I explained the situation and requested that the store credit be changed to a refund since the part was no longer available. He said that was impossible and he was unable to help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he refused to connect me.
I called back and spoke to a different agent and was told essentially the same thing...however....this agent stated that a refund was not impossible but created additional work for the credit department. She stated that because I had been a customer for several years that she would place a request to the Credit Dept for a change to a refund.
Unfortunately I only remember Adam's name because he was so rude about the whole situation.
Thank you young lady for your excellent service. Adam... you need an attutude adjustment.
