I applied to this company for my E2 visa. They asked me to pay 2000 USD retainer and sign a very detailed contract. Then they sent me a long list of required documents including how our grand grand father had bought their property because our source of funds was selling this property. May be I had the wrong impression but I thought they might be overdoing things, similar to EB5 visa (?). I know from my friend that they did not do that detailed things for their E2 visa. May be things changed with Trump, I don't know, although another well-known attorney came up with a different approach regarding the funds from old timer real estate. I also had the impression that the cost could be higher than what they had quoted at the first place. So I decided not to work with them and asked my retainer back. They were nice to pay it back in full although they had taken some time to write some messages back and forth, without any face to face meeting though.
