Irion Lumber is always my first choice for fine hardwood lumber for both shop and architectural projects. First, they are all top shelf people whose word is gold. Second, they have a proven track record of not overstating what the product is and how good or rare it is. Third, there are not a lot of places I can go to select sets of matched lumber at fair prices without any B.S. I can call and talk to them about exactly what I have going on and they will help steer me in the right direction. I have bought a lot of lumber from a lot of folks and it doesn't get better than this.
