Great if your part works, awful when you need to do a return.

I've been a customer for 11 years without issues until now... Bought a part for my BMW and the URO brand part fail after driving the vehicle for 2 months. I discovered the particular part has a 1-4 month life span. My first thought was great it has a 24 month warranty!

The reality of the situation....

1.When dealing with this situation you have two options send the part back at your expense wait for replacement. (cost me time and use of my car so not a good option)

2.Buy another of the same part and receive a partial reimbursement. Shipping the part back is at your own expense. (better option but I have buy another one upfront and pay for shipping the defective one part!)

In my situation I would have loved for them to restock this part with a know issue and allow me to pay the difference for a different brand without the quality issues...

When asking for a solution to the problem no customer service solution or options were presented. In my case replacing this part by warranty every time cost more then buying a who new part in the long run.

** The Good thing*** I can car pool with friends and family while my part from amazon ships. Other may not be so lucky so hopefully this helps someone out.

So now I just buy from amazon since they're customer service does a pretty good job of protecting you from bad products.
