In my school I am required to take an virtual school in order to graduate. With that being said, I believe FLVS is a great way to learn and get credit without much effort. The teachers are unbelievable nice to the students and really care on how they perform.
Currently I'm taking French 2 in FLVS. The instructor is always available and ready to help me on any question I might have. The course is well prepared, with structured content that makes it easier to learn a foreign language.
Honestly I have learned more French in the 15 weeks I've been in the course, than a whole year in a real classroom with an awful teacher and noisy classmates.
Like in any other classroom, the assignments do have a deadline and they must be met in order to pass the class. I believe that if you plan accordingly, it is not hard to complete them. There are many tools available to help the student succeed.
I give it 5/5 for the amazing teacher I have now, the great course helping me learn French, and overall functionality of the program.
