Don t let the unassuming lobby and building fool you! We had a blast!

My partner and I dropped in to play Captain Deadbeard s Revenge. We ve done a lot of escape rooms locally, but never at Ninja. We really appreciated the game master playing in-character and immersing us in the world of ninja. As a player, it can be frustrating to pull yourself out of the experience to ask for clues, but our game master s presence and acting worked seamlessly as an asset and a resource, rather than a 4th wall breaking faceless voice.

The room itself was extremely well dressed, and the puzzles were multi-faceted and tactile. There were a lot of engaging props and set pieces, making for a gorgeous pirating experience! The designers seem to love to build fleshed out plots for the puzzles, which made for a fun, well-rounded escape.

I d recommend Deadbeard for a group of 3 or more, depending on the experience of the players.
