To say this was a great experience would be a lie....

To say this was a great experience would be a lie. West coast solar came to us highly recommended by friends and family. However our experience with them has been less that stellar.
First when we had our quote Mike was over 30 minutes late. With no explanation or apologies. Husband was ready to call it quits but again family and friends said mike was fantastic and so was west coast solar. Here is when mile let us know that there installation was 6 weeks out. So we had to work fast to get it in by the end of year.
Next, we signed contact and sent deposit in within 3 days of our quote. Hoping to get the process rolling quickly as it was already end of October. However when we called to find out what was going on 2 weeks later we find out our paperwork was incorrect and had to be resigned and sent. We realized that no one was really following our installation very closely and needed to be the one to follow up and push west coast solar to get us installed within the last 12 weeks of the year. Ok site inspection day where pictures are taken and sent to design team. Appointment set and was clearly asked to give us a 1 hr time frame to have someone on property during picture phase. We are security conscious and wanted to be present. Our request was ignored by Mike and scheduler and picture person! This was the last straw and we called mike to get our deposit back. Mile then sweet talked us with upgrades and promises that no more issues will arise. We are now in the early December and still waiting on permits and install date.
Well this is when the **it hits the fan. We get more sweet talking and promises. It's now mid December and We were told that our install will not happen until January. We are so up set at the lack of communication and being ignored that manager Devin steps in to personally assist our install. Devin does some more sweet talking and promises weekly updates. We do get the weekly updates but no install date within 5 days of picking up permit. It's more like 7-10 days which puts us now in mid January for install.
I am happy to say that the install took place fantastically. Installers we on time and completed the job before lunch. However it's now been a week since install and now communication on final inspection or anything. In fact after my last email to Dave about wanting our install date Jan 4 I have not heard from him since. More broken promises.
Now let's talk about billing. We were asked to pay a second deposit because our fist deposit was not on record. We had to find our confirmation and send it to them to prove we paid the deposit almost three months ago. We are also getting billing paper work without our name on it just the words CASH and our address and there is nothing that states what each bill is for? 12k, 1k,3k all say CASH and no description of services.

So to summarize we were told 6-8 weeks for install and after a lot of yelling, crying , fighting, phone calls and emails. Our install happened 12 weeks after deposit paid and still no info and final inspection or PG &E info.
