I had nothing but a positive experience with West Vet. My cat had an eye surgery there with ophthalmologist Dr. Breaux and everything went a lot better than expected. Prior to taking my cat to West Vet I had taken her to 3 other veterinarians in the valley who had dismissed her eye problems as "feline herpes" and offered no solution to address her discomfort aside from supplements, which did nothing. Within minutes of my cat being seen by Dr. Breaux I was told she had no signs of feline herpes and was given treatment options, one of which was as simple as over the counter eye drops; the 3 other vets failed to mention those were an option. Ultimately she needed surgery to correct entropion in the eye and it seems to have been a complete success now that a month has passed. I see a lot of negative reviews mentioning West Vet's high prices but frankly, I would rather pay a bit more to have experienced veterinarians who know what they're doing.
