Three people: one excelent dish (Penne Toscana), one very good (seafood Caneloni), and one (mine) pretty good ( Mostaccioli). I chose also the soup (Ministroni) but it eas bad - tasted like can. From a nice Italian restaurant like Chianti I expected food made from scratch and more care put into the preparation... not canned beans and canned tomatoes put together in a pinch. The water brought to the table tasted like chlorine (and I could taste it in the soup, too). Bread was served after the main dishes arrived, and only because we asked, for the waiter had forgotten. He brought us bread sticks, though, for the bread machine was broken. And no butter. Waiter was excessively and artificially "nice" and way too present (i.e. annoying). He also decided to clean the floor around us, while we were eating. That's also irritating and he could have waited. The floor was not that dirty, it was after 2pm and the crowd was gone. It was lack of common sense to be around us cleaning the carpet while we were eating. I still like Chianti Grill, maybe today was not a good day. But the soup should definitely be improved (hint: made from scratch with more love and care, and filtered water) and the waiter better trained. Excess attention and hovering around while we eat is intrusive. There's my "tip" for the manager.
