On 05/19 I took my Hyundai Elantra in to the service portion of this dealership because it was experiencing some issues. The service portion was SO KIND, professional, and nice. If I could rate them 6/5 I would. After receiving the quote on repairs I decided it would be in my best interest to purchase a new vehicle.

When I came to pick up my car I decided to get a quote from the sales people at this location. I picked up my vehicle after hours of the service portion of the dealership, so they left my keys with the sales/dealership people. The service portion explained that they would let the dealership people know that I was interested in a quote, and purchasing a vehicle that coming weekend.

When I walked in I let them know I was picking up my vehicle, and I would like a quote to determine the value of my vehicle. First and foremost they started teasing me about what was on my key ring. Which at first doesn t seem serious and more so of a light hearted comment until you understand the full scope of the back handed comments I received from the sales people.

After sitting down with them and having them quote my vehicle they started asking rather insulting questions. Do you even have a credit card . Which for the record I ve had a credit card for 8 years and I ve never had a late payment let alone a carrying balance. After speaking to them and letting them know my intention was to purchase a vehicle that coming weekend they told me to send my hourly wage or whatever it is you make . Which in reality is a well paying salary job. Let me add they were laughing while asking me both of these questions. It was as if they didn t take me as a serious potential buyer with me being a young adult female.

When I went to leave and asked for the keys for my vehicle the sales manager started taunting me with them, and pulled them away 3 times before he gave them to me.

When I came back on Saturday, which I don t know why I did, they were incredibly pushy. I was not satisfied with their inventory of vehicles, and the one vehicle I was interested in they had very limited options of. They quoted me a price and told me it was a limited/one day offer. As someone who has worked in sales for years if a sales person tells you that they are 100 percent lying. It s purely a tactic to apply pressure and make a potential customer choose immediately. It s a great tactic for short term sales and commissions, but not long term customers. The second I said I wanted to visit other dealerships the sale agent was rude and dismissive.

I would not recommend this dealership to any younger women due to the amount of dismissive and overall misogynistic comments I received from the staff and sales management. Overall horrible experience, and I would not recommend them to anyone quite frankly. An overall insult of a dealership to the Garff brand.
