Nicole Johnston Review of Hubbell Realty Company

Writing in review of Hubbell and their HR department/hiring processes. I went through three interviews--a phone interview, a one-on-one on-site interview, and finally, a group interview on-site. This seemed a bit excessive for an entry job, but I figured they were simply being thorough. After several hours spent preparing, traveling to and from and speaking with various people at Hubbell, I was greeted with silence in return for my efforts. Only after several days did I finally follow up with a voicemail, inquiring for an update with this position. Many days even after that, I received an email explaining they were not sure when they'd be hiring for this position and that "internal issues" had come up and that "let's face it, we all have bills to pay". They wouldn't advise I wait around to hear back on this position. After speaking with a co-worker that had applied with them several months prior, she explained she'd been through the exact same three-ring circus, only to receive this email once SHE followed up after days of silence. I am stunned by the unprofessional way they went about telling me they'd gone with another candidate--or rather, the way they said anything BUT that, but rather made excuses that are apparently their standard template for telling a potential employee they'd chosen someone else.
Applier beware of your time being absolutely wasted.
