Update: 11/2017:

In short, I have been going back several times and it seems like I've received a better experience here. It still helps to research yourself first before going. Within NYC, they do have the most display and selection of Bromptons and Brompton related products. So I'd update my overall rating to four.

Last visit was due to a recall on the Brompton.

First off, I wasn't notify by them of the recall, my brother who knew I had a Brompton found out for me... otherwise, I would have still been in the dark.

I'd called them up and they seem to know about the recall and they just told me to bring it in. Worked it out to come in the morning as they couldn't tell me over the phone on how long it'll take. Due to changes with work, I had missed the time and instead brought it in around 3pm. Luckily, they weren't too busy and the person was much more helpful.

It was very unsettling at first as they did not have any of my info, like there database was erase (that explains why they didn't notify me of the recall). I thought to myself, oh here we go again, but fortunately, it only took him a few minutes and I was back on track. Took the bike in and told me 1 to 1.5 hrs. Finish earlier than expected and I received my bike without any hiccups.

Would like to like them, but can't...

So long story short, do your research before coming here, tell them exactly what you need down to the tire type. Call them beforehand to make sure they have the accessories in stock to save you multiple trips. Grab someone from the back office if you have a serious questions.

Bought a Brompton from them over a month ago and sales person was really nice (multiple times by different employees) but unfortunately, little of them have any knowledge of the Brompton. From not knowing the gear change of a 6 speed to not knowing the accessories and their usage (they didn't know that the Brompton T bag rain cover is located inside the side pocket). Luckily I had watch all their YouTube videos from them to know mostly what I wanted and needed.

You might get lucky and get a guy from the back office, and those are the one that can help you efficiently. Also they don't seem to have all the accessories in stock. Don't bother leaving your name or a callback, they never called me back...I waited over a month with no callback, and only found out they had restock weeks ago when I called.
