We have GSSC for our fire monitoring in a new building (setup by our contractor). Today we had an alarm go off, and when I called (or rather tried to call) GSSC, there was no answer, only a hold message saying "we understand your time is important, we will be with you as soon as we can". When I finally did get someone on the phone after multiple tries over a half hour period (with an alarm screeching in our building), the person on the phone said "I'm sorry, we're just an answering service and we're not trained to be able to help you with that - you'll have to call someone else". We called the someone else, only to get disconnected after that person saying "I can't help you, but I'll forward your number to someone who will call you back". This circus continued on and on - just now over 1.5 hrs later a rep emailed a trouble report to us.
Overall, I had to send 2 different emails, make 15+ phone calls to get hold of a real live person. This from an Fire Alarm Monitoring company charging us thousands of dollars per year. Will be changing companies ASAP! Just unbelievable that an Alarm Monitoring Company uses an outsourced answering service who can't help....and they don't have resources available to answer their own phones. Really despicable given what they charge.
