As OPVMC felt the need to respond to my review with a finger pointing back to me for the loss of my pet, I must too respond.....I am not disputing the fact that an ultrasound was indeed mentioned by Amioka, but never did she stress that it was necessary. O.k.? There's a difference. She left it entirely up to us to decide whether we wanted to take the next step, which was an ultrasound. Additionally, she never indicated his liver enzymes were high (which is in complete contradiction to the outside veterinarian who read your blood work and determined that it was). Now, why would we want to get charged $600 for an ultrasound when Amioka didn't see it as a necessity, nor did she think his levels were high???

Furthermore, we did not "opt to try a change in diet". As explained to Amioka, a change in diet is what we thought prompted the drop in his weight, in addition to the lethargy, which is why we brought him in in the first place! Clearly, she doesn't pay attention either. Again, beware of Amioka. That is all.
