I reread a previous review and realized how much I relied on Kia North Edmonton Service not only for the upkeep of my vehicle, I also look forward to seeing staff, Nancy Leung, in particular. My Dad passed July 4, 2020. This is one of the most impactful moments in life for anyone. Nancy was consoling and caring during this time. I expect common courtesy and professionalism from any service sector business, however the kind and respectful compassion Nancy offered lightened my heavy heart.
Time and time again I received the best service from the staff at North Edmonton Kia, literally saving my life once as a result of two new winter tires, most recently, an oil change after the passing of my Dad, my Dad who was a truck driver, heavy duty mechanic, a Union man and a hard working man all his life, my Dad instilled in me maintenance of my vehicle and regular oil changes.
I'm also a class 1A driver cause my daddy drove truck so did I.
My late-Dad (still hurts to refer past tense to my Dad) and I share the love of life as gypsies, driving or riding, I've owned a couple harleys and love the highway.
Dad, who knew the benefit of regular maintenance of all vehicles, whether eighteen wheels, two or four, loved meeting people and he would have enjoyed meeting the service staff at Kia North Edmonton, people who sincerely offer more than routine service, people who understand humanity goes a long way. Thank you Nancy, caring for my Dad over the last few years I shared some of this time with you whether you knew it or not, thru regular maintenance of my Kia Soul.
Hometown service and down to earth real people is what I experienced with Nancy Leung and service staff, thank you. You've no idea what an impact you've had in my life by being you and offering your kindness during this time I've had with my daddy, thank you. He would have liked you too...

The service I have received from Kia North Edmonton is beyond my expectation as a customer.

The customer service is professional, personable, and considerate.

Before the holidays I brought my Kia Soul in for a checkup and oil change, the service and genuine concern for my well being and safety resulted in literally saving my life.

The two new winter tires Kia North Edmonton installed were put to the test when I found myself sandwiched between a semitrailer and an oncoming vehicle when I was passing the semitrailer in the passing lane, during a snowstorm, I was traveling at 50 km when the semitrailer slowly skid into my lane and the oncoming vehicle also drove closely into my lane, the semitrailer and oncoming vehicle missed impact with me by seconds when my Kia Soul fishtailed, however the two new winter tires kept me firmly gripped on the icy road. Had it not been for the two winter tires that were installed for my safety during my checkup, I doubt I would be here to recount what can only be angels watching over me, and the exemplary service of Kia North Edmonton staff and management.

There are no recommendations one could adequately articulate for saving lives by providing precautionary measures when servicing a vehicle to ensure my safety, and the safety of the other people in the other vehicle and semitrailer. It was on January 1, 2020 when I drove Highway 1, returning to Alberta from the holidays, a day I will not forget any time soon, a Happy New Year indeed.
