Communication was really poor this time around, I ended up using a competitor. When things are delayed, and your unable to have a answer by your set timeline, the appropriate action is to inform your client of this, as letting your client chase you, will cost your client time, money and anxiety.

Update based on owner response 08 04 2021 - The solution to poor communication is not to instruct the client to come talk to you about your poor communication. The below shows the wrong ethos in regards to customer service, which of course was reflected in my experience.
