Nightmare on EBay Street...
We wanted a little treat. A little getaway...4 star pet friendly hotel in walking distance to our favorite Restaurant..for 1 night.. For our 7th Wedding Anniversary.. Arriving at Hotel .. While my husband tried to check us in I was unloading 2 dogs and dog beds and our personal belongings ...Husband comes back out to tell me the room isnt ready I didn't want to wait in the lobby with 2 dogs so my husband brought luggage inside while I went for a quick walk around the block with our dogs..arriving back at our truck some guy dressed less than professional jumped in our truck and tried forcing a key in it's ignition. It was the Vallet driver...I mentioned that he is in the wrong Truck obviously I have the they for this truck...he asked if I wanted vallet Parking and I replied yes..he gave me a ticket asked for the key for our truck and I mentioned please be careful Its a new $50.000 Truck it only has 4000 miles. He laughed and left...Now our room was ready my husband and I are on our way to our room long hallways different end of Hotel and on the third floor..i am used to when traveling with dogs to be on the first or second floor..thats a long way to walk if you need to take your dog for a potty break. Arriving at room the phone rings and it was the Hotel director informing me that the vallet driver tried to squeeze our Truck in a to low Parking garage and damaged the top of our truck..and that we do not have to pay for vallet parking...we meet Hotel director outside to look at the damage and the whole top of the cabin was scratched..the paint completely gone in places all the way down to the metal..hotel director (Alfonce) states that we do not have to pay for vallet parking now and there is insurance we will not have to worry about anything.. Alfonce is unable to provide us with even the insurance Name or a phone number. He gives us the phone number of Katie the Hotel corporate Katie.our weekend now ruined..to late now to go and do the things we had planned like taking a walking through Savannah..its almost 7 pm and we now have to hurry to our dinner date.. The next morning we check out.. 01.25.2020 No discounts for the inconveniences ...no name of insurance..Monday through Friday I am at the Phone trying to get the corporate Katie on the Phone. I left many voice mails she never answered to phone or called me back. I got Alfonce on the Phone once and it sounded like I was an inconvenience..and told me I have to wait until insurance that he does not know the name of.. Calls me 02.04.2020 I finally get to talk to the insurance..
