I had a water leak at my home. I thought it to be from the A/C. I contacted service america for assistance. They sent a service technician for $70 discounted price due to just recently getting a service contact with them, to diagnose the issue. He advised me that my A/C coil was dirty and that it needed to be cleaned. I followed the advise and scheduled a coil cleaning through them which cost me $425. When the technician for the coil cleaning came out I advised him that this was to resolve the leak issue I've been having. Once the technician finished he said yes that that was the problem and it should not leak any more. After the coil cleaning was finished the leak continued. I contacted service america again to tell them. They wanted to charge me another service fee of $85 to come take a look again which is absurd since they didn't fix the problem from the first time. I had to argue with them over the phone and finally they sent a tech free of charge. That tech then said it was a plumbing issue and he would have to send a plumber. The plumber from Service America came out and diagnosed my issue as a slab leak. He advised me that to repair the issue they would need to reroute the pipe which would cost in upwards of $2500. I decided to get a second opinion from another plumber. That plumber came out and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. The issue ended up being my pressure relief valve from my water heater. That call cost me $350. Service America technicians diagnosed the issue incorrectly 3 times. Charged me $495 for services that were never diagnosed correctly. When I advised their escalation department of the issue they told me that they would only reimburse for the $70 service call. This is not acceptable. They charged me for services that wasn't needed for about another two years. They refused to give any type of reimbursement for the negligence of their technicians. They are suppose to warranty their services but this is no resolution. How can they warranty services when they cant even diagnose the proper issue. If I hadn't been smart to get a second opinion it would have costed me even more money.

Changed Rates from 1 star to 3 Star. After dealing with the Presidents office they have agreed to refund the charges.
