I went to OSV for a show put on inside the village. We saw Sleepy Hollow. The show was wicked cool!!! It was set up as if you were in the village itself and then attending Katrina VonTassle's party. The production moved from sight to sight within the village. My fav was when were were attending the actual party. They had refreshments you could purchase, free games to play and the actors visited with you...not once breaking character. The actors themselves were very professional, put on a great show. Icabod was great!!! We all ended up for the finale by the covered bridge, where The Headless Horseman made his debut. Really cool! He gallops by you at quite a clip to finish off Icabod. We really enjoyed the show. There were attendants walking around in hooded cloaks with old creepy plague masks on, and the torches and candlelight really sets the scene. I was very impressed to see how concerned the staff were for safety, Making sure we all were behind fencing for the horse entrance. I noticed it was very accessible to wheelchairs, surprisingly as it's outdoor terrain.
The village itself though I enjoy it, appreciate the staff and learning about the past- is way over priced and so was the water! Gouge much??! Music festivals charge less! So my advice is somehow smuggle water in, but buy a tasty libation, enjoy the shows.
